eleanor’s first birthday | dc family photographer

Last year, right after August’s odd hurricane-like storm, I headed over to Capitol Hill for Eleanor’s newborn portraits. Last week, I met up with Amy, Eric, and Eleanor for her first birthday photo session! Craziness, if you ask me–kids grow so fast.

This post is a great example of what to wear to a family photo session. Baby Eleanor is in the brightest colored outfit, with Mom and Dad each wearing pops of color, and some patterns. Beautiful!

I met Eleanor and her parents at Eastern Market, where she got the star treatment in her awesome Radio Flyer wagon, and got to play with balloons. Eric & Amy are awesome! Then we headed over to a little local park for a few more photos. I’m having such a great time watching newborns grow into babies, and babies grow into kids. It’s way too much fun. Thanks for having me guys, and Eleanor–happy first birthday!
