This newborn lifestyle photography session with Dylan and his parents reminded me exactly what I adore about newborn photography. I walked into their beautiful house right near where I grew up and was immediately taken with their style–everything was modern and beautiful and their bedrooms are drenched in gorgeous sunlight! Oh yeah, and Dylan is THE cutest thing, which made the entire session a breeze!
Dylan is about a month old in these photos–and like other newborns I’ve recently photographed, his slightly older age was an asset to the session. We got lots of awake photos of him and his newly forming personality, more so than I generally do with younger babies. Plus, I think his parents were more relaxed than they would have been right after his birth!
We took lots of shots in Dylan’s nursery, as well as two bedrooms of the house–seriously, the light! The light! And I tried a new photo technique (which, if you’re having a session with me soon, you’ll get to see up close–check out that rainbow!). This set of images is absolutely one of my favorites. Thank you for having me, Dylan & Co, and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
