When Sofia inquired about having me photograph her rooftop marriage to Fabien, I was immediately excited. Maybe a little because I love to be tall (like, fourteen stories tall), but also because I’ve never photographed a rooftop wedding before. Just before sunset. With a tiny view of the Capitol.
Plus, it was another reason to hang with Tiffany Newman, the coolest officiant in the city. She always does such a beautiful, short but sweet ceremony. Just long enough for lots of shots, but not long enough for the guests to get antsy.
Sofia and Fabien’s ceremony was a bit longer, with vows in both English and French, and really beautiful. They were so excited to be married surrounded by their closest family and friends, no stress, and lots of love.
